pennies for your bytes

Modestly good news on the internet radio front: after lengthy negotiations, the new licensing fees for internet radio, which would most likely kill most web radio, have been postponed for 90 days, and most sides seem optimistic about a settlement that all sides can live with. (Boston Globe story here) I don't use web radio as much as maybe I ought- my few adventures with Pandora were positive- but as options shrink for all kinds of music on the radio band, any avenue is a good avenue.
