The first one is on Wayne Johnson SOLO GUITAR CD, and the another one is by great vocalist an occasional partner of Hersch, Janis Siegel. This is on A THOUSAND BEAUTIFUL THINGS (Telarc, 2006) and Janis sings with the only company of a colombian harp. Just amazing!

David.-balhisayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06609981879208448458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24357983.post-82739379679498226122007-01-09T20:05:00.000-05:002007-01-09T20:05:00.000-05:00Just to be accurate, it was Eldar who played at t...Just to be accurate, it was Eldar who played at the 2000 Grammy awards with Julian Lage.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24357983.post-81589220495770982792006-12-09T19:39:00.000-05:002006-12-09T19:39:00.000-05:00Taylor Eigsti came up in that whole 1990s jazz pro...Taylor Eigsti came up in that whole 1990s jazz prodigy wave - he's a friend of guitarist Julian Lage (who plays with Gary Burton a lot). If I recall correctly, Taylor and Julian played in a band together on the Grammys when they were both 14 in the mid-90s, or so. While I don't begrudge him his success at all - he's actually a solid player - the Grammy recognition this early in his career smells like a bit like a fait accompli.Ryshpanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07008400121978741507noreply@blogger.com
